  • How do I search for a developer?

    You can search for a developer manually by browsing our site, or by using the search form at the top of the site. To use the search facility, enter relevant keywords based on the type of developer you are looking for. Use the dropdown box to choose a category to search in and click on the 'Go' button image.

    Your search results will be listed in alphabetical order.

    To manually browse, you should use the left navigation and click on the most relevant development category first. We have then divided developers into relevant location categories based on country of location.

    No, our aim is to allow you to locate a web developer or programmer to help you with your needs. Feel free to visit a developers website and contact them directly with your request.

    A sponsored listing is a developers listing that has been paid for by the developer to gain higher exposure through a higher rank. You can usually recognise if a developer is reputable or has a commercial company backing them if they have a sponsored listing on our site.

  • How do I list my details on DeveloperIndex.com?

    To list a your details on DeveloperIndex.com, you must sign-up as a contributor using our 'Join' link. You will be taken to a registration page to allow you to apply to become a contributor.

    Once you have registered, you will then be free to login, add and modify your listings through our online interface.

  • I've forgotten my password, what can I do?

    If you have forgotten your password, it can be reset and a new password sent to you.

    On the login page there is a link below the login form that sends you to another page requesting your email address. Once you have entered the email address used in your account, your password will be reset and a new password sent to you. You can then re-login and change your password in your account settings.

    In the event that you cannot remember your login, password or email address, you will need to contact us directly via email.

  • How do I change my account settings?

    You must be logged in as a user to modify your account.

    Once you have logged in, scroll down to 'My Account' on the left navigation. You will have the choice of changing your resources ('My Resources') or your personal details ('Edit my Details').

  • I want to make my listing sponsored, how do I do this?

    To upgrade your listing to a sponsored listing you should login first, then click on 'My Resources' in the left navigation bar. Navigate to the listing that you would like to upgrade and click on the 'modify' link. In the modification page you must check the box that says 'make sponsored'. You will then be directed to a page with purchase links to allow you to order.

    Once your purchase has been completed, our team will approve your sponsored listing and you will enjoy top position exposure for your specific category. You can also then modify your resource listing and select an image to display along with your listing.

  • How do I improve my ratings?

    Users can rate and review your work directly from the DeveloperIndex website. To increase user ratings, you can place a 'ratings' box directly on your website.

    To get your own rating box for your website, login to your account, navigate to the listing that you wish to have rated and click on the 'get rated' link. Then simply cut and paste the code in the text area into your html page on your site.
